Frank, a Belgian and Yin his wife are the heart and soul of GoZar. Frank's career pared by travelling led him to Phuket, where he met Yin. Together, they blend Belgian and Thai flavors into a unique dining experience.
Passion for Food​
After retiring, Frank sought a new challenge. Meeting Wim Van Damme, the former owner of GoZar, presented the perfect opportunity. On June 1, 2024, Frank and Yin took over GoZar, creating a cozy, family-friendly restaurant that celebrates the culinary traditions of Belgium and Thailand.

Mission
Our journey began in Belgium, fueled by a passion for food. This love led our founder to Phuket, where he fell in love with the local cuisine and the island's culinary heritage. Together with his Thai wife, they founded Gozar, combining their culinary traditions to offer a unique dining experience that celebrates both Thai and international flavors.
